AiroTech carried out an air tightness test and internal/external infrared thermography survey on sheltered housing for one of the largest providers of social care in Scotland.

Uncontrolled air leakages caused by cracks, holes and poor workmanship in our homes can account for up to 50% of the total heat losses and cause up to a 70% reduction in effectiveness of insulation. Homes in the UK are the draughtiest in Europe.

The following infrared images show the starting point for a deep retrofit refurbishment of 770 sheltered/social houses which AiroTech are supporting.
