AiroTech was established in 2018 to promote energy efficiency and support our customers in meeting the Scottish and the UK government’s building regulations that focus on the reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions in the building sector.
David Cameron(AiroTech owner and director) is a qualified civil engineer, passive house designer, Level 2 Air Tester, PCN certified level 2 Thermographer and qualified SAP assessor of new build residential houses with over 20 years experience in sales and project management.
We work with architects, SAP assessors, developers, building contractors and individuals to help improve energy performance of new/existing buildings, as well as promoting energy efficient dwellings in order to create more comfortable and sustainable living environment for occupants.
We are headquartered in Perth, Scotland with offices in Guildford, England and cover the whole of the UK.
We provide high quality compliance testing services, including Air Tightness Test certificates and reports, to our clients at transparent and competitive prices.

Accreditations
Our personnel are certified PCN Level 1(ISO 18436-7) Thermographers with each survey reviewed and approved by a certified PCN level 2 Thermographer are registered with BINDT (British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing) and UKTA (UK Thermography Association).
Our level 1 and level 2 air testers carry out air tests in accordance with ISO 9972, methodology CIBSE TM23 and we are members of ‘Elmhurst Energy’ the government competent persons scheme.
Technical services
AiroTech use the leading and most advanced calibrated equipment/software on the market today to perform our services.
We employ non-intrusive detection methods such as smoke generators and/or infrared thermography to identify uncontrolled air leakages in building envelopes.
Our air tightness compliance services apply to new residential and commercial buildings, including extensions, and are performed in accordance with BS EN 13829:2001. ‘Thermal performance of buildings. Determination of air permeability of buildings. Fan pressurisation method’ and ATTMA TSL1 best practice document CIBSE TM23.
AiroTech use Infrared Thermography for internal and external building surveys in accordance with ISO 6781-1:2023 ‘Performance of buildings detection of heat, air and moisture irregularities in buildings by infrared methods’.
We also use Infrared Thermography to identify thermal anomalies in mechanical and electrical applications.
